Send Email to Patients What a great way to cheer up your loved ones, especially if you are far away! Patient emails will generally be delivered to patients by our Volunteers weekdays, once per day, generally in the late morning. Any emails received after that time will be delivered the next weekday. Patient emails which arrive between 7:00am - 4:00pm Monday through Friday are printed, then delivered within the next two hours to the patient's room by our Volunteers or a Staff member. Patient emails received after-hours and weekends will be delivered the next business day. Please be sure to include the patient's full name and room number on the email, to facilitate delivery. If you do not know this information, we will still do the best we can to deliver. There is absolutely no charge for this service. Our Patient E-mail Service is designed for get well/congratulatory wishes only. Any other types of communication, such as conducting personal business, questionable content or business/vendor solicitations, will not be delivered. We reserve the right to delete incoming mail deemed inappropriate or detrimental to our patients. Please be aware that our staff and/or volunteers will need to read your message to confirm the recipient's identity. Do not include any sensitive information: treat your e-mail like a postcard or greeting card. To observe patient confidentiality, we cannot verify delivery of e-mail messages. We do not assume responsibility for the delivery of messages sent to patients who have already been discharged. Information collected in our Patient E-mail Service will not be used for marketing or any other purpose other than the delivery of messages to patients at our hospitals.
