Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute at Henrico Doctors’ Hospital features the latest innovative technologies and includes the East Coast’s first and only TrueBeam® linear accelerator with HyperArc™ high-definition radiotherapy (HDRT).

This HyperArc™ HDRT is designed to improve radiotherapy and radiosurgery treatments, delivering a new era of precision, reduced side effects and tumor control for patients.

One of only two locations in the United States with the HyperArc™ HDRT, Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute is proud to offer the most advanced radiosurgery treatment available, designed to automate and simplify sophisticated treatments such as stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS).

HyperArc™ high-definition radiotherapy (HDRT) has unique capabilities and allows clinicians the ability to deliver more compact radiation doses that closely conform to the size, shape and location of tumors while sparing more surrounding healthy tissue. Treatments can be delivered in a conventional time slot, allowing our physicians to perform higher quality radiosurgery for more patients.

Our state-of-the-art facility also features a second linear accelerator known as the Trilogy with RapidArc, designed to deliver highly targeted treatments to many types of tumors, a new 3-D stereotactic table, two new 3-D tomosynthesis and a new CT scanner for simulation purposes.

With the expert guidance of our radiation oncologists and physician care team, we are proud to provide our patients with optimal radiosurgery treatment in a safe and efficient manner. Our team will map a plan for treatment, recovery and follow-up tailored precisely to your needs
